The next day was very interesting and exciting. A narrow path was traversing incredibly steep grassy slopes. The landscape was diversified by single trees God only knows how attached to the ground. In the highest point the trail was more than 800 metres above the river.

Finally, we reached Boghara - the last village in the valley. Here, nobody seemed to be interesting in our presence for a change. It was very suspicious and in fact as we found out later, all the adult villages were completely drunk for two days celebrating somebody’s wedding. We were camping on the football field and for a long time we could hear disturbing sound of the slowly dying party.

During the next two days the trail was negotiating through a dense and hot tropical jungle. The path was sometimes very uncomfortable, narrow and quite erroneous and it was easy to get lost. Some bridges were almost non-existing and several times we were forced to crawl through slippery daredevil passageways made of a single trunk. It was very exciting however any misstep could lead into a certain death in the raging waters of Mayangdi River.
