PIWOWARCZYK
I
am a freelance professional photographer based in Hong Kong.
My main interest in travel, landscape and human photography.
I was born in 1963 in Warsaw, Poland. I have a Master of Science
degree in geography from Warsaw University. I served as a
United Nations Volunteer during the historical missions in
Cambodia, South Africa and Eastern Slavonia (Croatia). I worked
as a professional tour leader specializing in adventure trips
to Asia and also as a photographer for Photo-Geo-Graphical
Agency GLOB4 based in Warsaw. I am also currently available
to work as a tour leader (7 years of experience with groups in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Peru, Bolivia, Macao and Hong Kong).
My photographic hobby
and now business is closely related to another passion - traveling,
and this website futures some of my pictures taken during
my numerous exotic Asian, African, South American and Australian
journeys from 1989 until now. My images and articles
have been published in many publications: books, newspapers
and magazines including Great Encyclopedia PWN, Historical
Encyclopedia, Geographical Encyclopedia, Poznaj Swiat, Kwartalnik

 My work has been recognised by Mumbay based Indian Asian Photography Magazine. Travel Photgraphy Special May 2005 issue carries the interview with me illustrated with 11 of images. Last year, my images from Indonesia were exhibited at the Werbist Priest exhibition in Gorna Grupa near Grudziadz, Southern Poland. It was supposed to travel around Poland later. The pictures from the opening of the exhibition can be found here.
