Jacek Piwowarczyk Photography - Nepal - Kangchenjunga Trekking 2000 - Day 5 (Yamphudin

After leaving Yamphudin, the trail climbs steeply towards the ridge crossing it at a saddle known as Dhupi Bhanyang (2500 m). Almost immediately it enters a jungle-like primeval forest which clothes the northern slopes. The forest is incredible impressive with fallen trees, roots - all covered with green, wet moss. Half an hour later it reaches the only campsite in the clearings on the bottom of Imje Khola Valley.
