Northeastern Coast Northeastern coast of Taiwan lack very high cliffs characteristic to eastern coast, however sights there are not of such high caliber, but are very beautiful and interesting - especially from geographical, geological and photographic point of view. The area is close to Taipei and can be very crowded during weekend so is highly recommended to travel there during the week.
