MT. TARANAKI

The perfect coin of Taranaki Volcano (Mt. Egmond) - 2518 m high is the most prominent feature of SW part of New Zealand. It is one of the wettest places in the country with c.a. 7000 m of annual rainfall. I was very lucky to see it actually.

WAITOMO CAVE

Waitomo Cave is one of the most amazing places in New Zealand. It is usually called the Glowworm Cave as is inhabited by a small insects which provide truly spectacular experience as they look like stars on the cloudless sky. Unfortunately taking pictures inside is strictly prohibited so I was able to shoot the entrance and a small creek flowing into it.
