POON HILL (3210 m) Poon Hill over Ghorepani is definitely one of the best view points over Himalayas in Nepal. Unfortunately it is also very popular and every morning a crowd of 100-400 people climbs a narrow path leading to its flat summit to enjoy chilly sunrise. Recently am ugly watch tower has been raised there to "improve" already undisturbed by vegetation view, which includes Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu ranges.
