Jacek Piwowarczyk Photography - Nepal - Trekking to Annapurna Sanctuary


Our small German-Polish trekking group: (from the left): Wolfgang, Helmut, Stefan and myself. We had our last lunch together in Chomrong. We split one hour later in a small teahouse over Kimrong Khola and our German friends headed faster towards Kali Gandaki Valley.

Leaving Chomrong, the trail traverses high over Kimrong Khola at first and after one hour walk begins to descend steeply down to the bottom of the valley to climb again to the village of Khomrong on the ridge. This part of the trail was completely deserted and we have not met any other trekkers.
