In the vicinity of Larjung village (2540 m), the Kali Gandaki valley forms the world's deepest canyon, 5.5 km deep, sandwiched between two 8000 meter mountains: Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Annapurna (8091m) - located 35 km away from each other (bottom right picture)
