Basantpur


Basantpur marks the end of the Kangchenjunga trek. It is a topical road-end city with busy streets and plenty of well stocked shops. There are two days of rough and honestly quite terrible bus journey back to Kathmandu and many people prefer to fly back from Teplejung - thus shortening the trek by 4 days or so.
