Towards Lapsang La

The next stage of the trekking was to cross the Kumbakarna Himal range to Gunsa Valley. There are to ways : the easiest, lower but apparently more scenic one via Margin La and Sinion La and higher and much more difficult one via Lapsang La. The latter one was our goal from the beginning and favourable weather conditions as well as lack of snow helped the decision to go that way. In order to shorten the next long day stage we decided to camp on in a small valley 550 meters below the pass at *4445 m. We did not regret the decision - the evening sunset followed by the moonrise was really stunning....
