Sadhus or "Holy Men" are inseparable from Kathmandu landscape. They can be found everywhere - mainly around tourists. spots. Those are actually nor a real Sadhus "working" as beggars, posing for pictures and asking for money. The "real" ones can be easily found in one part of Pashupatinath Temple. Come in the evening and turn left just after crossing the bridge over Bagmati River. They occupy a large square and are happy to talk. Do not hesitate to do so. They are nice and interesting people. |
