There is a fantastic view stretching from the westernmost part of the trail, before it turns southwards and descends towards Pokfulam. The most prominent Outlying islands Lamma, Cheung Chau and Lantau are clearly visible.

The trail winds gently along the cost providing splendid views over Lamma Island and finally descends very steeply to Aberdeen. That part is one of the most spectacular in Hong Kong - in my opinion of course.
