YANGSHUO

The area around Guilin and Yangshuo in Guazxi Province belongs to one of the most beautiful, the most popular and the most famous in China. The landscape, made up from sheer limestone hills is particularly photo-friendly, however weather in the area tends to be cloudy and misty. Yangshuo is very famous among backpackers and this small town has turned into a kind of Chinese Khao San Road or Phi Phi Island in the recent years. The best way to visit the area is to rent a bike and ride through beautiful rice paddies and villages without being disturbed by other tourists. A boat trip along famous and beautiful Li River is also a must.
