SHENZHEN

Shenzhen is a large town and a Special Economic Zone located just north of the border of Hong Kong. Although it had quite a lot of attractions itself (like amusement parks, nice coastline, parks) plus modern architecture it is mainly considered as a holiday, shopping destination for Hong Kong people and my wife and I also go there once month. Warning! The border crossing in Lo Wu can get quite crowded during weekend (especially on Sunday and Chinese holidays).
