BOLIVIA

My trip to Bolivia was very brief - just a few days jump from Puno in Peru. However we managed to visit La Paz - the capital, Tuahuanaco - the most famous Bolivia's ancient cultural centre, Yungas - tropical region and even climb 5345 - high mountain - Cerro Chacaltaya.

Bolivian Altiplano is amazing and it looks impressive even while traveling on the bus. The journey between the border and La Paz takes about 2-3 hours but it is really difficult not to look outside the window. The highest peaks of Andes here reach more than 6000 meters.
